Star News INDONESIA, Friday, (26 Juli 2024). SEMARANG - President Joko Widodo arrived at Ahmad Yani Army Base, Semarang City, Central Java Province, on Friday, July 26 2024, at around 14.40 WIB. Appearing to welcome the President's arrival in Semarang City were the Acting Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana, Pangdam IV/Diponegoro Major General TNI Deddy Suryadi, Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ahmad Luthfi, Danlanumad Ahmad Yani Lieutenant Colonel CPN Adi Puruhita, and Danlanal Marine Colonel (E) Joko Andriyanto.
The President and his entourage then immediately continued their journey to Batang Regency by car.
"In Batang Regency, President Jokowi is scheduled to inaugurate the Batang Integrated Industrial Zone (KITB). "Before the inauguration, the President will also inspect a number of factories in KITB," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana in his written statement.
Apart from that, President Jokowi is also scheduled to launch the first 16 thousand pairs of shoes at PT Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia. After the activities in Batang Regency, the President will continue his journey to Surakarta City to spend the night and continue his working visit activities the following day.
Also accompanying the President on the flight to Central Java were Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia, Military Secretary to the President Major General TNI Rudy Saladin, Paspampres Commander Major General TNI Achiruddin, and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana.
Previously, President Jokowi left for Central Java Province on Friday, July 26 2024, at around 13.50 WIB. The Head of State and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Indonesian Air Force Base, Jakarta, using the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1.
Seen to see off President Jokowi's departure at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base were Pangdam Jaya Major General TNI Mohamad Hasan, Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Karyoto, Pangkoopsud I Marshal TNI Mohammad Nurdin, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Marshal TNI Destianto Nugroho Utomo.
